Arabic for Kids
“Arabic for Kids” is a calm learning app that introduces young children to their first Arabic words.
The app is designed for children aged 3–7 and helps them build a natural connection between the sound of an Arabic word and the image of the object. Children do not need to read, write, or study grammar rules. They simply listen to the word, look at the picture, and learn to recognize the meaning through visual understanding.
The main learning idea is:
Arabic sound → image → understanding.
Learning happens through a gentle game-like experience. The child moves along a map with a friendly character named Arabik, opens new levels, listens to Arabic words, and chooses the correct pictures. After several levels, short review activities help reinforce the words the child has already learned.
The app avoids stress, scores, timers, lives, leaderboards, and aggressive gamification. Our goal is to make learning calm, simple, and suitable for short daily sessions of 5–10 minutes.
The app includes:
- Arabic words with audio;
- large and clear pictures;
- a progress map;
- the friendly character Arabik;
- word recognition activities;
- review of previously learned words;
- a calm visual style;
- Autism Friendly Mode to reduce animations and sensory load.
The app does not require registration, accounts, or a server connection. Progress is saved locally on the device.
“Arabic for Kids” is made for Muslim families and parents who want to gently introduce their child to the Arabic language through sound, images, and shared learning.
